Memorial Day in the Third Middlesex District

Rep. Hogan joined Memorial Day celebrations throughout the Third Middlesex District, including:

The Mulready Elementary School assembly in Hudson – Led by Mulready Principal Kelly Costa Sardella, the Mulready Cafeteria was standing room only with students, teachers, and family members. There were poems and patriotic songs and stories of remembrance and lessons learned. Mulready Parent and Master Sargent Camille Bastien shared highlights of his over 20 years in the service and answered a wide variety of questions from Mulready students.

In Stow, the Memorial Day parade and ceremony were well attended and include Stow first graders who laid flowers on the graves of the fallen, the NRHS Band, Veterans and local officials. Town folk filled the Brookside Cemetery to pay respect to those who gave their last measure of devotion. We are grateful to Colonel Martha Monroe and the Stow Veterans Grave Committee for keeping the tradition alive.

Under clear blue skies, the town of Hudson came out to remember the fallen. The Town of Hudson and Dept. of Veterans Services ensured we remembered them. Special thanks to VSO Brian Stearns and all those who gathered, in community, to remember the men & women of our armed forces who gave their last full measure of devotion.

The Maynard Elks and the Emblem Club ensured that Memorial Day was observed with a parade, reading the names of the fallen, remarks from officials, prayers, and music. Special shout out to Andrea Tobin and Kim Lalli for all their contributions to this special day.
