The inaugural Military Appreciation Day at the State House was hosted by the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Secretary of Veterans Services in recognition of the invaluable contributions of veterans, active-duty service members, and military families from across the Commonwealth.
Rep. Hogan was delighted to nominate Joe Jacobs of Hudson. Joe is a Veteran who continues to assist and support other Veterans and their families in Hudson and Stow. He has served as Hudson’s Memorial Day and Veterans Day master of ceremonies for over 20 years and serves as Stow’s veterans services officer, as well. Joe has served as commander at both the AMVETS Post 208 and the American Legion Post 100 for more than 10 years. He has also served as the Home Alone Program Coordinator providing meals to over 1000 residents during the holidays each year. Thanks for your service, Joe!
