Rep. Hogan joins regional transit celebration

Rep. Hogan was honored to speak at the Massachusetts Association of Regional Transit Authorities Annual Legislative Luncheon last week, where I shared some of the transportation successes that RTAs have had in the 3rd Middlesex District and expressed my gratitude to the RTAs and the critical role they play in Massachusetts’ transportation story.

My district is part of the 495/MetroWest region made up of bedroom and edge communities that sustain a large segment of the Commonwealth’s workforce and contribute to our overall economic development. Robust, reliable transportation infrastructure is essential in my district – to support both our current business activity and our future economic growth.

Shout out to RTAs serving our district: the MetroWest RTA, led by Jim Nee; Montachusett RTA (MART), led by Stephen Oldfield; and the Lowell RTA led by David Bradley. I am dedicated to working closely to bring more transportation options to our towns.

Thank you to Jeannette Orsino, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Association of Regional Transit Authorities; House Chair of Transportation Jim Arciero; and House chair of the RTA Caucus State Representative Mindy Domb for all their efforts to keep our region and the Commonwealth moving forward.
