3rd ANNUAL MAYNARD PRIDE FESTIVAL
2026
It was an honor to address the crowd gathered at Veterans Memorial Park today — and what a crowd it was! Maynard continues to show up for its LGBTQ+ community in the most beautiful way. To every young person here today who may be wondering if they belong: you do. This community sees you, celebrates you, and will fight for you.
We know that Pride is not just a party — it’s a protest, a remembrance, and a promise. At a time when LGBTQ+ rights are under attack across this country, it matters more than ever that we show up proudly, right here in our own backyard.
Thank you to Lisa Ochs Dunn and Maynard Pride for the incredible work you do year-round; to the vendors, food trucks, performers, volunteers, and families who made today so joyful; and to the town of Maynard for continuing to be the welcoming, vibrant community that it is. Love is Love. Happy Pride, Maynard.
